The Japan America Society of Greater Cincinnati recently hosted a heartwarming and festive event, Ikebana for the Holiday Season 2024, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with its success! With attendees enjoying a creative and enriching experience, it was a wonderful turnout that left everyone inspired and full of holiday cheer.
A Day of Artistry and Joy
The event provided an opportunity for guests to explore the elegant Japanese art of ikebana – a centuries-old tradition of flower arrangement that emphasizes harmony, balance, and the natural beauty of blooms. There was no shortage of creativity in the room as participants crafted stunning floral designs under the expert guidance of Teruko-san and her talented team. They also were able to take home their kenzan, vase and flowers!
Special Thanks
We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Teruko-san and her incredible team for sharing their expertise and passion for ikebana. Their guidance and inspiration made the event something truly special.
We are also deeply grateful to The Barn for graciously hosting us in such a beautiful and cozy space. It provided the perfect setting to showcase the artistry of ikebana and to bring the holiday spirit to life.
