On June 6th, over 50 members of the Japan America Society of Greater Cincinnati (JASGC) gathered for a Summer Happy Hour at Big Ash Brewing. This exclusive event provided a great opportunity for networking and relaxation in the inviting atmosphere of Big Ash Brewing. Attendees enjoyed a variety of beers from the region’s first “self-pour wall of taps. The covered outdoor porch area was the perfect setting for the evening.
We were pleased to welcome several distinguished guests:
- Toshihiro Yamauchi, the newly arrived Principal of the Japanese Language School, and his wife Midori Yamauchi.
- Doug Chase, professional brewer and one of the founding members of Big Ash, who spoke to us about “The Art and Business of Brewing Beer.”
- Iku Shibata, a renowned Japanese ceramic artist. Learn more about his work here.
A big thank you to our sponsor, CVG Airport, whose support was essential in making this event a success.
The JASGC Summer Happy Hour at Big Ash Brewing was a hit, thanks to the engaging presentations, vibrant company, and delicious offerings. We look forward to more such events in the future.
Thank you to everyone who joined us!
