The Asianati Hanami Picnic held at Ault Park was a resounding success, with a large turnout and favorable weather setting the stage for a memorable day of community gathering. Participants enjoyed picnicking amidst the stunning cherry blossom trees, fostering a sense of togetherness and cultural celebration.
The event, supported by various partners including Cincinnati Parks, JASGC, and Sakura Juku Japanese Language School, featured engaging activities like a Candy Hunt for kids and performances by the Sakura Ladies Chorus and Cincinnati-Dayton Taiko Drummers. The seamless coordination and collaborative efforts of all involved contributed to the event’s success, highlighting the importance of cultural exchanges and community engagement in such gatherings.
